The Story of The Stables at Beal

Why The Stables is waiting for you to arrive and experience what Northumberland can offer.

Having visited Northumberland for over 10 years we knew that on our retirement, the only place we wanted to call  'home' was this beautiful area  with its large skies, vast beaches and  soft summer breeze.  We even welcomed the cold winter and fresh winds because no matter what the weather, we felt so at peace, yet energized.

We now have one goal in mind: that is to offer our guests a comfortable and affordable accommodation, from which they can explore this wonderful county and benefit from these natural elements.

The Stables at Beal covers every aspect of your stay: central location, cosy beds, three en suite bedrooms, a comfy lounge and well equipped kitchen.

Ideally situated in the hamlet of Beal with countryside views, yet within easy reach of sandy beaches, castles, villages and towns.

It is within easy reach of St Cuthbert's Way and St Oswald's Way.

For Cyclists it is near the Coast & Castle Cycle Route and The Sandstone Way.

It is also the ideal stop off for a few days if you are travelling the Northumberland 250 route

With our local knowledge of the area, we hope to make your holiday a magical experience

Hello

What is so Special about The Stables at Beal?

Although the Stables is bordered by open fields the A1 is easily accessible to explore Berwick Upon Tweed, the Northumberland Coast, the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh. If you don't wish to use your car there are bus stops within walking distance to take you to the coast to Bamburgh and Seahouses and there is  also a train station in Berwick to go north to Scotland.  Berwick boasts some fine ramparts, barracks and The famous Royal Border Bridge. Take a look at The Stables at Beal Facebook and Instagram pages for the many events held in the town and the surrounding villages during the year.
